  1. Loving the Hint Robot. Hard game to wrap my head around even after reading the rules… In the middle of my second play now. Thanks for putting this up!

    1. Glad to hear it. That’s actually one of the things I’m most keen to get feedback on. I can find all sorts of bugs myself, at least in principle, but it’s too late for me to see the game from the point of view of the learner. So suggestions about tutorial/hint support are great.

Not that I think I know, to this day, how to really play the game *well*, which is a whole other thing. I’m woefully easy to trap into disadvantageous chains of jumps that leave my 1’s where my 5’s should be and vice versa, and without enough maneuver room to swap them.

  2. The AI had a forced salta but it moved another piece first. I tried shouting “salta!” but the program does not seem to have voice recognition software yet. ;) In its next move, it made the required salta.

    1. Well, that’s interesting. Let’s see if I can get that to happen. Any more detail on the exact situation might be useful.

The voice recognition thing would be hilarious, by the way.

      1. I was playing green and I moved my star 3 piece from its starting position to force the red moon 5 piece to salta into the red moon 3 final position. Red moved another piece. On further reflection, it is possible that the other red piece was also in a salta position created by a red move the previous turn. If it appears to happen again, I will doublecheck that it was an illegal move and let you know.

        P.S. The program is great.
